We came for a night cap for a birthday celebration. The whole place is a vibe. Awesome bar, moody decor, a variety of unique exciting cocktails but still have the simple classics, and service was top notch. We didn’t have food, but are excited to come back to eat after such a great experience with cocktails. They serve birthday desserts with a sparkler candle which was a really fun surprise for our birthday girl. Overall loved our experience and can’t wait to come back!

Checked out a new place today in Salt Lake. It's called Varley. It's south, across the street from the Marriott Hotel. When I mean new, it just opened this week. Super classy place and a very nice bar. Great friendly customer service from the greeter, to the guy behind the bar, and later the cooks that made my meal. Ok, on to the good part the appetizer and the dessert. I did not know it was a new establishment so I was very glad to be impressed. I ordered the Thai Coconut Curry Mussels. It was a great spicy creamy Thai with in house made Roti bread. But what impressed me were how the mussels were cooked. Most places overcook them and it becomes too tough. These were nice young mussels that were lightly cooked so they were super soft and tender which paired perfectly with the spicy creamy Thai sauce. This would be a great appetizer to share with friends. Now on to the dessert. I got the Oreo and Baileys Cheesecake. Baileys is a nice mixture with the Oreo crust. You got the liquer flavor that blends well with the creamy cheesecake and a little sharp kick with the chocolate Orem crust. This is a nice little treat to end the night with. I'm glad I got to try this new place and will definitely look forward to comimg back and trying some more items on the menu. Remember to support your local businesses. #thisishowIchow @varleyslc

We wanted to find somewhere that had good looking cocktail choices. Luckily the Saturday we showed up it wasn't busy. We could talk to each other and enjoy each other's company. Around 10pm a DJ came and it got a little louder. The bar tender said usually it gets really busy so we were lucky this night it didn't. We had a couple really good drinks. One was created by the bar tender there, a riff on a New York Sour. So good. A couple random drinks on their list we wanted to try for fun. They serve food, a couple loud tables were there, but we didn't order anything. We would come again, early to hopefully beat the crowd. Feels upscale to other places in town.

Sue is hands down the best server here! She took incredible care of our large group, handling everything with ease and a great attitude. We were in town for a conference and brought customers along, and she made sure our entire experience was seamless and enjoyable. Her attention to detail, efficiency, and friendly service truly stood out. 5 stars all around—for Sue and for this place!

Having never been, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, I was hugely and pleasantly surprised! The Christmas decorations, were absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing, especially the buffalo pops. The cocktails were excellent, and so lovely themed, and the people working tried really hard to keep up and did a pretty decent job. The music was great, and really help with the vibe. Cannot wait to go back! Recommend most Highly! #TempleMastery

I didn't order any food for that reason I didn't award any stars. However, I came for a cocktail and not knowing what to get I asked the bartender. The bartenders are very helpful and will ask what you usually drink and go from there. Also, me visiting from another state they are willing to suggest nearby bars or restaurants. For those reasons I gave them 5 for service and atmosphere. If I lived here this would be a spot to start the night. I highly recommend it. Now if your bartender is Jake, the dude is laid back and willing to answer any questions.

We had a good experience at this place! The food was delicious, especially the recommended mango dessert with an extra touch of coconut flavor, which was a delightful surprise. The seating area was cozy and perfect for our company gathering, and the server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. the server she patiently answered all our questions and made sure we were well taken care of. The drinks were well madd, and the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. Overall, it was a five-star experience, and we’ll definitely be returning next time we’re in town.
